Originally from eastern WA and southern CA, my spouse and I ventured to Bainbridge Island in 2016 to live our best life. We are not just life partners but devoted pet owners with over four decades of combined pet care experience. Our journey is guided by our passion and commitment to each other and all animals.
In our almost twenty years together (so far!), we have opened our hearts and home to multiple rescue pups — some socially anxious or fearful, some with medical or rehabilitation needs – all with unique personalities waiting to be understood and with unconditional love to give. With professional backgrounds in corporate strategy and commercial construction management, we've had many positive experiences with trusted caretakers for our own pups when away from home. These experiences sparked our passion for personalized home-based care, especially for those pups who may not thrive in commercial facilities or crowded boarding setups.

Together we founded and operate Bainbridge Pet Resort, where our mission is to provide a personalized boarding experience where pups can thrive while their families have peace of mind. Located on secure acreage and offering home-based one-on-one care, indoor & outdoor play, and lots of cuddles, our priority is to provide a boutique setting for our pup guests and capture moments of their joy to share with you.

For clients who reserve pet shuttle service, we transport all pups safely. Pups will travel in a
secure crate with comfy blanket.

Vaccinations
Are Required
​
All vaccinations records MUST be received prior to confirming your reservation (see our FAQs page for a list of required vaccines). Vaccinations must be administered at least 14 calendar days prior to their stay to ensure efficacy.
Please do not take your pup to the vet, grooming, daycare, or
dog parks for at least 1 week prior to your pup’s stay to prevent
potential exposure of your pup
to an airborne illness.

NOTE: Safety is our top priority. Even if your pup is primarily kept indoors, they can be exposed to viruses carried in the air, dust, or even on clothing. Vaccination is an inexpensive protection against costly treatment or even the premature death of your pup. Always consult your veterinarian for medical advice and treatment.
Flea & Tick
Prevention

Owners are responsible for keeping their pup(s) flea & tick free and all pups are required to be on a regularly administered prevention treatment. Should we find evidence of fleas or ticks after drop off, we will perform a flea & tick bath immediately and administer one dose of CAPSTAR to prevent exposure to other pets; an additional $100 fee will be applied.

Create a Pup Profile
You can call us directly at
206-865-0179 or join our guest registry. We'll connect to discuss your pup's daily routine, feeding schedule, allergies, medical needs, and general well-being considerations. This approach helps us create a detailed pup profile as our goal is to offer a resort-like experience and meet your pup's individual needs.
We'll also discuss our services to ensure our resort is the perfect fit for you and your pup(s). And we'll arrange a required overnight evaluation to assess your pup's comfort level with our setup.
